Clone Tasting: Pinot Noir, Three Ways
In celebration of California Wine Month, join us this September for a special exploration of three distinct Pinot Noirs: 2023 667 Pinot Noir, 2023 777 Pinot Noir, and our 2023 Green Valley Girls Pinot Noir which is a blend of the 667 and 777 clones.
Taste side-by-side and discover how different clones and vineyard expressions shape the character, aroma, texture, and finish of Pinot Noir. You will start with a taste of our 2025 Vermentino as a palate opener, then explore the clone Pinot Noirs. Each wine will be paired with a small sensory food component designed to highlight and complement what’s in the glass.
It’s a fun, interactive way to taste Pinot Noir beyond the bottle—and see just how much nuance can come from the vineyard.

Come discover a few of our older vintages, revisit some favorites, and experience how our wines evolve over time. Each weekend brings a new library pour, so there’s always something different to discover.

Explore the heart and soul of winemaking with our Grape to Glass Tour & Tasting at Dutton Estate Winery. Immerse yourself in the world of wine as you stroll through our chardonnay vineyard, rooted in six generations of farming legacy in the heart of the Russian River Valley. Witness firsthand the art and passion behind our winemaking process with an exclusive tour of our modest crush pad and barrel room. Relish with a tasting of five current releases and a special library wine, accompanied with a curated cheese and charcuterie board, and finished with decadent artisanal chocolates. Note: This tasting experience requires a 48-hour advanced reservation.
