Dutton Family Story
We are the sixth generation of the Duttons to farm in Sonoma County. Today founders Joe and Tracy Dutton continue their family’s agricultural heritage with their daughters Kyndall, Kylie and Karmen at Dutton Estate Winery.
Dutton Ranch
The Dutton family has been rooted in Sonoma County agriculture since the 1880s. Today, the fourth, fifth, and sixth generations continue that legacy, sustainably farming over 1,400 acres of premium wine grapes and organic apples across the Russian River Valley, Green Valley, and Sonoma Coast appellations. Grown in three of California’s most renowned AVAs, our grapes are highly sought after by some of the state’s most respected wineries.
Vineyards & Orchards
Our prestigious fruit is derived from our family’s appraised farming operation, Dutton Ranch, located in the heart of Green Valley’s Russian River Valley. We farm a total of 1200 acres of premium quality wine grapes and 200 acres of California Certified Organic Apples.
Sustainability
We have been an active participant in the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance (CSWA) and has been certified since 2016. We are pleased to help lead this effort in our region in maintaining the wine industry’s long-term sustainability by following identified best practices, ensuring continual improvement, and keeping everyone honest and transparent.
